You’ll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. You’ll collaborate with people across AWS to help us deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingKey job responsibilities
- Regularly participate in verification audits to provide objective, independent assurance on the effectiveness of the Safety Management Program (SMP)
- Facilitate and liaise with multiple stakeholders, including Operations leaders, to mutually accept audit findings and appropriate corrective action
- Follow up on audit recommendations to ensure appropriate corrective action has been taken to resolve identified deficiencies
- Perform analyses of audit outcomes and make recommendations for process and system improvements
- Highlight, and provide corrective action solutions for hazards identified outside of a defined audit scope- Share best practices to assist in the continuous improvement of individual and organizational H&S performance
- Other H&S program management duties as needed

- Minimum four-year college degree in Occupational Health and Safety (OHS), 2+ years’ of OHS or equivalent experience
- 2+ years’ experience in internal or external auditing
- 2+ years’ experience in program or project management
