Job responsibilities
- Develops a product strategy and product vision that delivers value to customers.
- Manages discovery efforts and market research to uncover customer solutions and integrate them into the product roadmap.
- Owns, maintains, and develops a product backlog that enables development to support the overall strategic roadmap and value proposition.
- Builds the framework and tracks the product's key success metrics such as cost, feature and functionality, risk posture, and reliability.
- Lead data-driven experiments to inform product direction. Responsible for testing across platforms (and possible other channels), managing the pipeline and the end-to-end process.
- Measure product KPIs and success measures by understanding the target outcomes and tracking our progress against targets.
- Collaborate with engineering and design partners periodically assess and optimize processes to improve team running.
- Respects, values and promotes diversity and inclusion.
- Demonstrate relevant experience gained in a consumer-oriented role, building and shipping product to customers and have a data orientated focus, leveraging engagement and usage insights to direct the product roadmap.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area.
- Advanced knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics.
- Proven ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management.
- Extensive knowledge of the product development life cycle, technical design, and data analytics.
- Proven ability to influence the adoption of key product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management.
- Proven strengths in resilience, creativity, and an unwavering commitment to excellence.
- Extensive knowledge of SAAS platforms and user data to power excellent user experiences.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization.
- Experience working with multi-level management and groups.
- Scrum Experience is a plus.
- Experience with the Agile Delivery of products.
- Knowledge of the Oracle HCM platform and product.
- Experience delivering across multiple platforms.
