As a Sr. Embedded SW Engineer, you will collaborate with internal cross-functional teams to deliver software solutions for variety of customer products. You will design, implement, and verify software deliverables and utilize automated testing / delivery frameworks to ensure seamless interfacing to all customers.You will dive into ambiguous problem spaces and meticulously distill out design choices, trade-offs, and priorities. You are data and metric driven, and obsessively concerned about performance in resource- constrained environments, while ensure the solutions are scalable and easy to be ported to new devices or new device categories. You love to share best practices, influence and align teams, and be a technical ambassador for software reuse across the wider Amazon organization.Key job responsibilities
A day in the life
As a Senior Embedded Software Development Engineer, you will:
- Understand and refine the scope of incoming projects

- 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
- 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team

- 5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
