CNC Mill Programmer/Machinistlocated inBuffalo Grove, IL.

Reporting to theCNC Mill Programmer/Machinistis responsible for performing a variety of complex, specialized tasks related to the construction and repair of mold components.

What a typical day looks like:

• Program, set up, and operate 3-axis and 5-axis CNC milling machines.
• Check machined parts for conformance to prescribed tolerances
• Inspect components visually for surface finish and also inspect dimensions.
• Performs machine set-ups, adjust speeds and feeds to machine parts to specifications set forth in blue prints.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• Proven ability to analyze G code and make manual program edits as needed.
• Proven ability to set up cutting tools and prove out new programs.
• Proven ability to use basic shop inspection methods to include sine plates, indicators and height gages.
• Close tolerance milling experience required.
• High speed hard milling and electrodemanufacturing experienceis required.
• CMM experience a plus.
• Proven ability to work with robotic equipment is a plus.
• Powermill and Powershape software experience is a plus.
• Mold manufacturing experience is a plus.
• 5 years minimum experience necessary.
