Leads Resident Engineering effort, acts as lead liaison between construction effort and Design Build engineering team. Reviews questions and information inquiries from subcontractors, provides interpretation and direction to construction management team on implementation of contractual requirements in the field. Responsible for distribution of subcontractor Requests for Information and Submittals to appropriate reviewers, ensures most efficient review and response path is pursued. Responsible for review times meeting contractual requirements. Responsible for final Request for Information and Submittal response, ensures response quality. Defines needs for project changes, works with Design Build engineering team to develop, finalize and implement design changes as required.
- Minimum 8 years of progressively responsible experience in the engineering/construction field.
- Must have 2 years related experience in review and response to construction related submittals/RFI's.
- Must have demonstrated ability to act independently, meet delivery time frames, oversee the work of others.
- Must expect regular outdoor movement within an active construction site.
