Client Responsibilities:
- Manage regulatory compliance engagements.
- Help manage the financial aspects of engagements by organizing staffing, tracking fees, and communicating issues to project leaders.
- Monitor and track all regulatory compliance changes and updates
- Review the regulatory updates and feeds from the various tools/databases as applicable and identify the relevant updates.
- Interpret, collect, analyze, and structure information to create relevant content including thought leaderships, white papers, POVs etc.
- Manage timely delivery of a regular calendar of research deliverables — including whitepapers, presentations, client-shared materials, case studies and best practice documents.
- Ensure the quality of deliverables by undertaking self review of the work and ensuring that it is aligned with EY guidelines for internal and external publication.
- Manage editorial and content processes, involving different types of publications such as thought leadership reports, web articles, and case studies.
- Build strong internal relationships within Risk Consulting practice and with other services across the organization.
- Build connects with client stakeholders, understand their business challenges/pain areas and work with leadership to propose innovative solutions
Other Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with a cross section of sector, solution, account, branding teams to drive EY’s thought leadership on wide range of regulatory topics.
- Provide guidance to internal EY teams and clients on regulatory topics. Work with extensive stakeholder group to create plans for accomplishing engagement objectives and a strategy that complies with professional standards and addresses the risks inherent in the engagement.
- Identify opportunities in existing accounts to cross-sell other EY services.
- Create innovative insights for clients, adapts methods & practices to fit operational team needs & contributes to thought leadership documents.
- Actively contribute to improving operational efficiency on projects & internal initiatives.

- Understanding of risks and controls across business processes
- Strong academic history (degree in Business, Accounting, or work experience in risk and internal audit team of Big 4 preferred).
- Ability to gather, analyze, restructure, identify and create original insights from information and data
- Strong oral and written communication skills, with particular attention to precision of language and ability to organize information logically.
- Proven competence for meeting deadlines, multi-tasking and managing work under ambiguity/uncertainty (e.g., changing factors, limited information)
- Proven competence for managing, coaching, and developing a team.
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize deliverables effectively in order to achieve optimum results.
- Proficient in MS-Office Suite, data analysis & validation.
What you will need:
- Master's (Economics, Finance, Management.) or a Degree in Law (LLB).
- 5+ years of research and/or management consulting and/or risk management experience
- Experience in compliance monitoring, interpreting regulatory requirements and changes.
- Experience in internal controls, internal audit, risk management and compliance reviews
- Knowledge of industry specific compliance requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in leading and managing a team of researchers.
- Demonstrated ability to teach and relay ideas, engage clients and work in global teams.
