You will be able to leverage your own resources to identify and implement effective changes to existing systems/processes as well as collaborate with other groups to deliver solutions within tight timeframes. The Finance Manager will have capable interpersonal and communication skills while maintaining a positive can-do attitude.

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting/Finance, or related field AND 2+ years accounting or finance experience
    • OR Master's Degree in Business, Accounting/Finance, or related field AND 1+ year(s) accounting or finance experience.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of ASC606 accounting requirements and operational implementation
  • Understanding of relational databases, a working knowledge of SQL Server and Analysis services
  • Advanced PC skills especially Excel |Advanced SQL Query and Engineering skills
  • Advanced data reporting and analytic skills, specifically Power BI and Power Query
  • Demonstrated ability to write and troubleshoot SQL Stored Procedures
  • Microsoft Revenue accounting skills and knowledge including specifically MS Sales, MSRA (Microsoft Systems), batch account usage
  • Knowledge of the SDLC (System development lifecycle) and associated Agile processes preferred
  • Ability to lead the delivery of projects, deal effectively with ambiguity, and prioritize under pressure
  • High attention to detail and ability to work within stringent deadlines
  • Demonstrated problem-solving ability and ability to utilize experience to improve processes and proactively drive opportunities to resolution without supervision
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally across a range of technical disciplines and different organization levels

Responsibilities
  • Engage with business owners to assist in the definition, interpretation, and implementation of Accounting solutions and models
  • Perform business validation testing on tools and models as required
  • Provide ad-hoc analysis, support, and solutions as necessary to support Corporate Revenue Accounting
  • Own and deliver on a broad range of financial close reporting and accounting activities that drive quarterly revenue recognition accounting adjustments and financial statement integrity
  • Partner with Corporate Accounting, Central Finance Teams and the Segments to provide insights and understanding of revenue recognition accounting adjustments
  • Proactively challenge existing processes and implement changes as needed
  • Create documentation of tools and processes to ensure adequate controls and compliance around revenue recognition accounting adjustments either owned or supported by our team
  • Design and engineer business continuity into all of the tools, processes and models delivered in this role
  • Embrace uncertainty, take risks, and learn quickly from mistakes while looking to achieve more through technology and innovation
  • Available to support financial close procedures which occurs prior to and after business hours
