Key Responsibilities- Draft, review, and negotiate term sheets and agreements with consumer electronics manufacturers and telecommunications providers to make access to Netflix easily available to their customers.
- Provide business-oriented, practical, and actionable advice to the UCAN Partnerships team to support product innovation and commercial goals with partners.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business development, product, finance, operations and public policy, to support Netflix’s strategic initiatives in the partnerships space.
Requirements- J.D. degree and membership in at least one U.S. state bar.
- 5-7 years of experience in a law firm or in-house legal department, with a focus on complex commercial agreements and technology transactions.
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills with an ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with business and technical teams at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively, proactively and independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical skills and business acumen.
- Willingness to tackle challenges outside of expertise.
Preferred- Media and/or entertainment industry experience.
Our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $250,000 - $530,000.
