Your Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage SAP projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure, while ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, resources, and budgets, and communicate them effectively to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define project objectives, and establish success criteria.
- Identify and manage project risks, issues, and changes, implementing mitigation strategies as necessary.
- Foster strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members to ensure effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor project performance using appropriate tools and techniques, providing regular updates to senior management and stakeholders.
- Mentor and guide project team members, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in SAP project management, integrating new methodologies as appropriate.
To qualify for the role, you must have:
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in information systems, commerce, accounting, computer science, engineering, business, finance and/or other related major
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in the SAP domain, including numerous years of hands-on functional experience.
- A minimum of 5 years of SAP project management experience, covering a minimum of 2 full-cycle projects, managing S4 Hana implementations would be ideal.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Experience in planning, executing, and closing SAP projects.
- Strong understanding of SAP modules and functionalities relevant to the business.
- Familiarity with SAP implementation processes and best practices.
- Familiarity with project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Trello).
- Understanding of data management and integration processes within SAP.
- Financial Servicessector experience preferred

What we offer you
The salary range for this job in British Columbia is $120,500 to $216,000. Individual salaries within this range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and work location city.
