You will work in teams with experienced M&A professionals, where you will apply your technical skills to assess a company’s historical financial performance and position, identify opportunities, and risks, and report on these to our clients.
In doing so you will learn and develop the skills you need to perform buy side due diligences, sell side mandates, corporate valuations, asset quality reviews, as well as independent business reviews.
When working on projects you will almost always be working as part of a wider cross service line team.
You will have the opportunity to collaborate closely with senior-level decision makers at leading corporations, contributing to the success of our client’s growth strategies.
Your key responsibilities
- Gather, research, collate and verify relevant financial information to formulate views.
- Conduct in-depth industry research to support due diligence efforts, including market analysis, competitor benchmarking, and identification of potential risks and opportunities.
- Analyse relevant financial information by reviewing accounting records and participating in interviews to identify significant trends or key issues and generate insights and factual conclusions.
- Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and compliance of financial data and documentation
- Develop reports that are clear and impactful, utilizing databooks (excel), graphics, tables, and models, clearly communicating key findings, risks, and recommendations.
- Actively participate in internal and external meetings
- Develop an understanding of our clients' business agenda and industry, and the transaction life cycle.
- Supervise and coach assistants, help them enhance their contribution and develop their capabilities
- Contribute to business development efforts by preparing proposals, pitch materials, and client presentations
- Work effectively as a team member by demonstrating your commitment to quality, sharing responsibility, providing support, maintaining communication and updating senior team members on progress.

What we look for
- Professional accounting designation i.e. ACCA and/or CFA
- 3-5 years of experience in auditing/financial analysis/transaction support
- Excellent use of the Microsoft Office suite, in particularMS Excel
