Azure Data & AI Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in transforming enterprise customers by helping them harness the power of data and artificial intelligence.


Azure Data & AI Specialist

You will work with customers to shape their data strategies and solutions, including modern data warehousing, analytics, insights, governance platforms, and AI/ML solutions. By understanding their unique business needs, you will guide them on their Azure Data transformation journey, demonstrating how our solutions can drive meaningful outcomes.

What We Are Looking For
  • A proactive and strategic mindset with a strong ability to identify and prioritize high-impact opportunities.

  • A deep understanding of Data Modernization, Analytics, AI, and Machine Learning technologies.

  • Demonstrated experience in solution sales within enterprise environments, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

  • Strong collaboration skills, working cross-functionally with technical, partner, and consulting teams.

  • Ability to establish trusted relationships with enterprise customers, influencing decision-making and driving long-term partnerships.

Required Qualifications:
  • Strong experience in technology-related Sales/Solution Sales in a reputable software company with many years of sales experience

  • Experience selling business solutions to global customers with a focus on data platform and Analytics & AI technologies
  • A track record of meeting and exceeding revenue targets AND experience working with complex enterprise customers

  • Full proficiency in English (both written and verbal) and German (Level B2 or higher)
Additional or Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with Data solutions: Cloud-based Data Warehouse, Databricks, Hadoop, Spark, Data Lake, SQL; MySQL, PostgreSQL, NoSQL (Mongo), Power BI, and/or Machine Learning solutions

  • Proactively identify, qualify, and develop Data & AI opportunities within enterprise accounts.
  • Engage C-level stakeholders to align Microsoft solutions with their strategic priorities.
  • Manage complex sales cycles with a focus on accelerating deal closure and pipeline growth.
2. Lead with Expertise
  • Serve as a trusted advisor for customers on their Data & AI transformation journey .
  • Position Microsoft as the go-to partner for modern data platforms, AI, and analytics.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and compete effectively by understanding market dynamics .
3. Collaborate for Success
  • Lead and orchestrate a virtual, multinational team of technical, partner, and consulting experts.
  • Work cross-functionally with Global Partner Solutions (GPS) to expand reach and scale solutions.
  • Foster strategic partnerships that drive joint customer success.
4. Deliver Measurable Impact
  • Meet and exceed revenue, adoption, and consumption targets for Microsoft’s Data & AI solutions.
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans that maximize customer value.
  • Continuously refine sales strategies to optimize performance and accelerate business growth.
5. Enable Customer Innovation
  • Guide customers in modernizing data infrastructure and implementing AI-driven solutions .
  • Provide technical insights and demonstrate Microsoft’s capabilities to win decisions .
  • Support customers in navigating their AI and data-driven transformation journey .
