Risk Manager, Premium Products & Experiences

Responsibilities:

• Serve as a liaison, interfacing with business partners, Tech, and other assurance functions, such as legal, compliance to drive meaningful reductions in risk
• Synthesize data and reporting; perform analysis and bring valuable business insights to proactively identify risks and trends
• Participate in or lead risk forums and contribute to continuous improvement of risk management practices
• Advise and consult with business teams to help develop well-designed products, processes, and supporting technologies and implement risk management practices; support our business partners to drive the risk/return trade-off decisions
• Be a part of leading and delivering on our well-managed agenda Design, implement, and/or influence internal governance processes
• Assess controls, and glean insights from issues and events across business areasLead ad-hoc projects to improve processes or control environment to mitigate risks (e.g. execution errors)

• Manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines, independently and with team collaboration

Basic Qualifications:

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification
• ​At least 4 years of Financial Services Risk Management experience
• At least 4 years of Compliance, Risk Management experience or Card services experience
• At least 3 years of Project Management experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or military experience
• 5+ years of Project Management experience leading cross functional projects and programs in Risk
• 1+ years experience working in an Agile environment
• Certified Risk Management Assurance (CRMA) or Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM)
• Lean, Agile, Six Sigma or Business Process Management certification
• PMP Certification or Masters Certificate of Project Management (CPM)

McLean, VA: $146,100 - $166,700 for Risk Manager Richmond, VA: $132,800 - $151,600 for Risk ManagerThis role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
