Your key responsibilities

  • Manage the annual billing and invoice processes of the Swiss and Global intercompany accounts.

  • Build in-depth knowledge of engagement economics and opportunity Management, perform detailed performance analysis on engagement and account levels for various business partners, including the local Partner group.

  • Collect, analyze and manage large data sets from global teams to support annual fee and regulatory reporting.

  • Improve the quality of existing analysis and reporting tools.

  • Work closely with EY’s overseas Global Delivery Service (GDS) team, delegating routine operational tasks. Supervise and monitor the work of the GDS function maintaining overall responsibility for task completion.

Skills and attributes for success

  • Degree in business / finance (University/FH)

  • A minimum of 3 years experience as Business Controller, preferably at a professional services firm

  • Confidence and ability to push back and understand the wider implications of account level business decisions.

  • Fluency in German and English, proficiency in MS Office. Advanced Excel skills are essential. VBA programming skills and experience with Power BI are an asset.

  • Interest in innovation and continuous process improvement

  • High levels of integrity and accuracy, commitment to deadlines

  • Self-driven with a “can do” attitude.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to demonstrate initiative, flexible and independent working style within multi-national teams, planning skills, commitment and ability to work under pressure.
