Job Summary
The Government Pricing/Managed Markets Sr/Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring compliance with federal pricing regulations, government reporting requirements, impact analysis and provides quantitative analysis/insight to help inform strategic decision-making. The GP portion of the position involves analyzing pricing strategies, overseeing pricing submissions by TPL, IRA modeling and managing contracts with government entities. The Managed Markets portion of the role involves analyzing market dynamics, evaluating formulary access, assessing the impact of MCO decisions on product performance and ad hoc requests.The analyst will collaborate with various departments to gather data, perform pricing analyses, ensure accurate reporting for government contracts, develop and implement data analysis that help inform strategies that maximize product access and profitability. Responsibilities also include monitoring changes in legislation affecting pricing, conducting audits, and providing recommendations to optimize pricing strategies while adhering to compliance standards.
Essential Functions of the Job (Key responsibilities)
- Analyze and support the preparation of government pricing submissions and 340B initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with federal pricing regulations (e.g., Medicaid, Medicare, IRA).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary data.
- Monitor and report on changes in government pricing regulations.
- Support the monthly, quarterly and annual tasks to carry out government reporting requirements.
- Support and co-lead audits (COT, Internal, etc.).
- Manage Policies and SOPs.
- Analyze market access trends and managed care environments.
- Evaluate formulary placement and reimbursement strategies.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align strategies with market needs.
- Monitor legislative and regulatory changes affecting managed markets.
- Manage day-to-day tactical and ad hoc activities.
- Ability to manage large data sets and synthesize through modeling into meaningful insights.
Qualifications (Minimal acceptable level of education, work experience, and competency)
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
- Experience in government pricing, compliance and/or Managed Markets preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools, excel and software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
