Essential Responsibilities:
- Drive revenue growth and global market expansion by identifying and cultivating strategic partnerships, channels, and opportunities
- Lead the negotiation with external partners and engage cross-functional support colleagues to ensure the successful delivery of solutions for large complex partnerships.
- Develop and execute an overall business strategy to identify and cultivate strategic partnerships, channels, and opportunities to drive revenue growth and global market expansion.

- Align product and business levers (such as pricing and FX) to maximize revenue and market expansion opportunities.
- Engage closely with product, engineering, and architecture teams to drive the architectural runway and determine the best technicalimplementation/design.
- Represent the end customer on an ongoing basis and use this knowledge to drive effective prioritization and decision-making.
- Collaborate and influence product outcomes in a matrix organization with multiple stakeholders such as Engineering, Operations, Risk, Legal, Sales, Business Development, Marketing, Finance, and Banking Partners.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Your day-to-day- Develop and execute an integrated acquisition and merchant growth strategy to achieve volume, profitability, and partnership targets.
- Lead multi-channel sales activities, including digital, direct, partnerships, and merchant-driven channels.
- Identify and secure strategic merchant partnerships to increase acceptance and promote credit usage.
- Design and deliver joint campaigns with merchants to drive transaction volume and customer engagement.
- Oversee end-to-end planning and execution of acquisition and merchant growth campaigns, including performance tracking and post-campaign analysis.
- Monitor performance metrics (e.g., new customer acquisitions, merchant transaction volumes, activation rates) and provide regular reporting to senior leadership.
- Collaborate with product, marketing, risk, operations, and legal teams to ensure initiatives align with overall business goals and regulatory requirements.
- Optimise customer and merchant journeys to improve conversion rates and satisfaction.
- Manage acquisition and merchant growth budgets, ensuring efficient resource allocation and maximising return on investment.
- Ensure full compliance with FCA regulations and internal policies, particularly regarding responsible lending and Consumer Duty.
What you need to bring- Extensive experience (minimum 5 years) in sales, acquisition, and partnerships within credit cards or broader consumer finance.
- Proven track record of delivering acquisition and merchant growth targets.
- Strong understanding of the UK credit card market, including merchant dynamics and acceptance strategies.
- Expertise in developing and managing strategic partnerships and co-marketing campaigns.
- Deep knowledge of digital and traditional acquisition channels.
- Excellent analytical and strategic thinking abilities, with the capacity to leverage data to drive decisions.
- Strong leadership and team development skills.
