This position is expected to be in the office in Fort Worth, TX.
This position requires an employee’s full and unimpaired skills and judgment to safely execute their job duties to ensure the safety and security of Amazon Air personnel, third-party contractors, Airport personnel, cargo, and equipment. - Develop labor standards through work measurement
- Create labor models and planning to support both sort and ramp operations
- Manage projects from conception to completion
- Conduct and lead project meetings with Senior and Regional leaders
- Assess and optimize the processes and equipment used in the facility
- Typical projects could include spearheading a floor layout redesign, evaluating the ergonomic needs and issues within work areas, or conducting a capacity planning and analysis study including the operational execution plan
- Understand, articulate, and implement mechanisms that drive efficient processes- Calculate ground support equipment (GSE) needs at regular intervals- Recommend and implement changes to safety procedures, work methods, and labor standards
- Work a flexible schedule, shift, and work area which could include weekends, nights, and/or holidays- Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a STEM related field
- 3+ years of experience directly managing and responsible for large projects in a cross functional organization
- Experience in Logistics, Distribution or Fulfillment processes
- Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
- Experience creating analytical models of complex systems and the ability to perform process capability analysis through work measurement and time studies
- Experience utilizing Industrial Engineering principles for process improvement and/or waste reduction methodologies including or similar to Lean Management and Six Sigma
