About the Role

As the Tech Ads and Offers Product Champion & Strategy Manager, you will lead critical initiatives to position Ads & Offers as a proven and relevant growth lever for our partners & Uber Delivery. A strong emphasis on stakeholder management complements your strategic leadership. Beyond efficient project execution, your ability to engage and manage partners will be essential in navigating the complexities of our Ads & Offers initiatives. Your multifaceted role encompasses crafting a vision, engaging partners, product request handling, and achieving set targets through effective negotiation.

What You'll Do
  • Strategic Stakeholder Engagement for Revenue Growth: Nurture influential relationships with internal partners (territories, GMs, global product, AMs), employing data-driven insights to strategically align interests and drive concerted efforts towards revenue growth (ads & offers) objectives.
  • Project Planning and Execution: Develop and maintain project plans grounded in data analysis, ensuring alignment with revenue goals. Be responsible for end-to-end execution, adhering to timelines and achievements aimed for maximum impact.
  • Data-Driven Target Setting and Tracking: Collaborate with team members to set strategic targets, underpinned by data analysis. Implement robust tracking mechanisms, continuously supervise progress against targets, and apply data to propose initiatives for strategic improvement.
  • Development of Insightful Revenue Strategies: Spearheaded the generation of actionable insights from data, encouraging cross-functional collaboration to identify strategic opportunities for revenue improvement and efficiency.
  • Product Management: Maintain and groom the regional Ads and Offers product requests list by prioritizing items based on LatAm business value. Negotiate with global to proactively communicate upcoming features, changes, and release dates to all the partners.
  • Ads and Offers expertise: Understand and interpret key operational and financial Ads and Offers metrics to help figure out strategy and action plans. Develop and apply an understanding of the levers that move our Merchants’ business and UberEats business.
Basic Qualifications
  • At least 8 years of investment banking / consulting / project management / product management / strategic planning, or related experience; some high-growth operations experience is highly preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on negotiation, aligning stakeholder expectations with project objectives, and conflict resolution.
  • Ability to balance attention to detail with swift execution - we need to do things quickly and well. Balancing those can be challenging, and this should be a strength.
  • Self-starter attitude - the capacity of self-serve, investigate, and get the data we require will make you much more effective in this role.
  • Outstanding analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in English - You are a clear and concise communicator with the ability to synthesize quickly a lot of information, highlight the key take-aways, and disseminate actionable insights.
Preferred Qualifications
  • PMP certification is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business, or related field
