The opportunity : Associate Consultant-FS-Business Consulting Risk-CNS - Risk - Actuarial - Mumbai

CNS - Risk - Actuarial :

Financial Services Risk - helps clients in the financial sector to identify, manage and monitor the risks in their business. It is done through a transformative and agile approach including process and procedures, risk, data modeling and analytics, reporting to stakeholders and third parties, business requirements (for software selection and IT implementation), analysis of assets and liabilities, and capital and liquidity management.


Your key responsibilities

Technical Excellence


Technical & Behavioural:

Ability to develop and lead new initiatives and solutions
Experience of managing large projects with full ownership of deliverables and stakeholder management / communication
Deep technical knowledge in core actuarial concepts relating to statutory and shareholder reporting, capital calculation, risk management and product pricing
Experience / knowledge of actuarial modelling and design on both Excel and any specialized actuarial software
Ability to develop reports and presentations for the client
Proven communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to put across complex technical issues and solutions to non-actuaries
Proven ability to balance priorities and manage a large number of competing demands to agreed deadlines and to the required level of quality
Ability to lead and manage actuarial teams, with both project and line management responsibilities
Ability to give/receive constructive feedback
Self-motivated, uses own initiative and is outcome-focused
Dealing constructively with uncertainty and ambiguity

A graduate or post graduate degree in relevant and a qualified Actuary
Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience
Good working knowledge of the relevant actuarial concepts and methodologies
Good knowledge of regulations (IRDAI/IAI), Statutory Valuation/ Accounting reporting and Pricing
Good technical understanding of at least one of the following areas - Economic Capital; MCEV/ EV
