Your Role and Responsibilities

◆◆◆ Job Description ◆◆◆
As a member of the IBM Z H/W Global Support Team, you will be primarily responsible for providing support for IBM Z hardware failures.
The role will include: Problem determination on hardware failure, creating action plan to resolution, explaining problems to customer, coordinating maintenance window, directing action plan to IBM service engineer, and ordering parts if required.
QA response to inquiries from both internal and external customers

  • Who are interested in learning about the hardware that is the foundation of IT infrastructure.

  • Who wants to work as part of a global team at the first-class n the industry.


Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • CEFR B1 or higher English proficiency
  • Experience in maintenance and support (2+ years, any product)
  • Knowledge of hardware or networking (can explain the role of hardware components, how the network works, etc.)


Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Must be comfortable speaking English.
  • Able to come to the office at least 3 days a week
  • Must enjoy communicating with team members.
  • Willingness to learn the latest technology and apply it to the job is desirable.
  • Linux related certifications (LPIC, etc.)
  • Network related certifications (CCNA, etc.)
