About Our Program

Our Electrical Engineer Development Program provides training on routine assignments under the guidance of senior engineers. You will develop competence in the role by performing structured work assignments while using existing procedures to solve both routine and standard problems. Electrical Engineers work with a range of technologies, including Plasma Physics, Automation & Control Systems, Motion Control, Power Distribution & RF power generation and delivery components as well as PCB analog & digital circuit design.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the procurement and assembly ofelectrical/electroniccomponents/equipment and identify sources of critical parts and subsystems to resolve basic technical issues
  • Design or modifyelectrical/electronicengineering assemblies, layouts/schematics and/or detaileddrawings/specificationsof limited scope under directsupervision
  • Perform basic engineering analysis under directsupervision
  • Perform and generate basic engineering test reports under directsupervision
  • Generate related alpha/gamma documentation for product release
  • Troubleshoot a variety of basic electrical problems
  • Effective use of engineering processes in the resolution of generally difficult electrical problems of limited scope

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field and available to start full time summer 2025
  • Basic technical knowledge in at least one R&D discipline (Optic, Electronic, Motion, SEM)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous internship or related field experience
  • Demonstrated leadership experience
  • Able to solve complex problems and take a new perspective on existingsolutions
  • Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources ofinformation
  • Explains difficult or sensitive information; works to buildconsensus
  • Flexible and adaptable mindset who thrives in a results-driven culture
