* Provide strategic leadership and direction for the security engineering team to ensure effective security solutions aligned with business needs
* Oversee the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of the organization's security infrastructure and tools
* Assess security risks, establish mitigation strategies, and develop technical roadmaps
* Build, lead, and develop a high-performing security engineering team with the right mix of skills
* Define team goals, provide coaching, and foster a culture of innovation and collaboration
* Partner with AWS security teams and development team to understand requirements and integrate security seamlessly
* Communicate security strategies, project status, and performance metrics to executive managementAbout the team

Hybrid Work

- 5+ years of experience leading, managing & developing high performance security teams such as Application Security, Security Assurance, Red Teams
- 7+ years of experience within a software security team or similar operating environment
- Hands-on experience in information security technologies such as security design review, threat modeling, risk analysis, and software testing techniques
- BA/BS in computer science, information security, related discipline, or equivalent work experience

- Experience of working in cloud technologies
- 8+ years of experience in security engineering, architecture, and operations, with a focus on designing and deploying enterprise-wide security services and solutions
- Proven track record of leading the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of security tools, platforms, and managed services
- MS in computer science/related field
- Information security professional certifications encouraged (SANS GIAC, CISSP etc.)
- Excellent written communication skills, with a focus on translating technically complex issues into simple, easy to understand concepts
