TheProcess Technician is tasked with all the teardown activities to improvingprocesses and ensure manufacturing lines produce quality products safely and efficiently. This role will interact with many cross functional teams and willrequire flexibility tosupport Engineering, Quality, New Product Introduction(NPI) and additional organizations. A Process Technician is thego-to person to perform the requested teardown and run the appropriate test forthe weld/joint inspection.

• Provide daily coverage of teardown tasks supporting production line processes to ensure smooth and effective operations, including a rapid response to out-of-control processes to minimize cost and maximize productivity Investigate and implement countermeasures to improve product yield
• Do regular/rigorous cleaning of equipment, keep them clean, neat and charged
• Take charge of the area while also maintaining 5S's of Lean
• Perform torque test on bolts and nuts using a torque wrench or push out tests
• Execute experiments and analyze data under the direction of process engineers. Maintain tooling through PM/TPM activities
• Trial new parts and process in conjunction with the new product engineering team
• Proficient in operating pneumatic chisel hammers, optical microscope/stereoscope, tensile tester, cutting tools like abrasive cutter and band saw, sample grinder/polisher, chemical etching of the polished samples, etc

• Associate degree, technical certificate or equivalent experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong proficiency in common workplace software (MS Word, Excel, JIRA)
• Skilled with the use of a variety of hand and portable tools
• Ability to read and interpret basic mechanical drawings for the weld/joint locations
