KeyResponsibilities Increasingly independently handle NPI (new product induction) IP reviews, including freedom to practice/operate (FTP/FTO) search and analysis (infringement analysis), enlisting the help of technologists;
Increasingly independently evaluate invention disclosures for patentability, and granted patents re validity;
Work with outside counsels and inventors to manage patent drafting and prosecution; Conduct landscape studies / white space analysis.
Support trademark/copyright registration and enforcement. Conduct IP training sessions and impart IP knowledge through daily on-the-job interactions;

Desirablecredentials:
Bachelor's Degree (advanced degree preferred) in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other relevant scientific/engineering fields.
Law degree /education preferred (not required).
3~5 years of experience in patent/trademark/copyright law and/or in-house IP function, and minimum 2+ years of experience in patent search and analytics. Ability to use both Chinese and English as working language.
