Key job responsibilities
As Manager of Boost MyDay, you will own software solutions that will provide the right work to the right technician at the right time. You will provide capabilities to technicians and their managers that make them productive. You will focus on work discovery, work optimization and work planning capabilities for technicians and their managers. You are expected to excel when faced with ambiguity. You have high judgement and understand which opportunities drive the most strategic value for the business. You will not be limited by the present and will constantly look ahead to the future. You enjoy working in a collaborative, analytical, and fast-paced environment and are comfortable interacting with highly technical cross-functional teams. You have excellent analytical capabilities, be comfortable diving deep into data, and have strong writing skills. You have a track record of understanding customer needs and delivering technology solutions to address those needs. This is a highly visible position that will interact at all levels of the AWS Infrastructure business.

- 3+ years of engineering team management experience
- 7+ years of working directly within engineering teams experience
- 3+ years of designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- 8+ years of leading the definition and development of multi tier web services experience
- Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and livesite operations
- Experience partnering with product or program management teams
- Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior leadership to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy
- Experience in recruiting, hiring, mentoring/coaching and managing teams of Software Engineers to improve their skills, and make them more effective, product software engineers
