This role is based in London (UK), Paris (Fr), Brussels (Be), Copenhagen (DK), or any other city in the cluster close to an international airport.

KeyResponsibilities:

  • Defines and drives local marketing strategy in alignment with country commercial leadership.
  • Ensures execution and competencies development of local marketing team.
  • Launches Products flawlessly, educates sales force on sales strategies in cooperation with EMEA Marketing Team Marketing.
  • Owns the Cluster Marketing Plan and cascade it locally.
  • Influence EMEA marketing about local market dynamics and needs to ensure alignment for strategic execution.
  • Collect market dynamics and customers insights.
  • Design local customer journey to achieve key franchise opportunities in line with EMEA marketing strategy.
  • Interact with CoEs for seamless marketing execution.
  • Drives localcluster/country Marketing Strategy Communication & Implementation: Guides local teams and collaborates with divisional Product Managers to develop customized messages and selling tools for the local market that enables the Sales Force to drive desired customer behavior change; Champions the local implementation plan with divisional Product Managers and the country Sales Force; Based on budget allocations and product input divisional Product Managers/ Specialists, makes resource allocation trade-off decisions across products for local implementation; Ensures the right set of specific metrics are in place for tracking success of local marketing efforts - determines corrective action when local product performance is not on track. Builds and develop digital marketing tools in collaboration with divisional Marketing Team.
  • Stakeholder Management: Manages communication with key (local) stakeholders to ensure effective implementation of customer programs and to ensure alignment and effective implementation of country strategies and implementation plans and choices.
  • KOL Mgmt.: Identifies and develops KOL relationships with the respective sales partners.
  • Planning and Management: Designs and manages an efficient and effective work process. Reliably delivers relevant and value-added outputs within agreed upon timelines.
  • Quality: As interface to Clients and Sales Organization has direct responsibility to facilitate, share documents and process to identify, notify and ensure any complaint or problem are addressed, thereby demonstrating high commitment to Quality in all interactions and behaviors. Responsible to facilitate and champion the quality requirements and the message of compliance to internal and external customers for all events andcampaigns.
  • People Management:
    • Guides, coaches, directs, and develops direct reports, and if applicable, drives those practices throughout their organization.
    • Fosters a diverse workplace that enables all participants to contribute to their full potential in pursuit of organizational objectives.
    • Monitors and ensuresquality andcompliance with company policies and procedures (e.g.cluster/country and regulatory requirements).


Requirements:

  • Business or Marketing degree, master’s degree preferred.
  • 5+ years' work experience in a marketing management function or equivalent position
  • Sales or entrepreneurial experience is preferred.
  • Experience working within medical device and/or pharmaceutical sector is required, additional experience within Cardiology is desirable.
  • Strong commercial background and proven track record of successful in-country marketing planning and execution resulting in plan achievement.
  • Strong understanding on the opportunities of digital transformation and customer experience preferred.
  • Strong business acumen and long-term business planning experience
  • Good understanding of clinical and scientific topics
  • Previous experience cooperating with medical societies for joint program development preferred.
  • Good understanding of the Healthcare environment, market access processes and regulatory systems in the countries
  • Very good project management skills
  • Very good analytical, creative and out of the box thinking skills are desirable.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English, French would be a plus.
