Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 years of experience in accounting or a related function, or 1 year with an advanced degree in accounting, business, or finance.
- Ability to communicate in English and Portuguese fluently to engage with local stakeholders.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in attending external and internal audits, agreement review, process improvement, system implementation, project management, and quality control.
- Knowledge of business recognition for both IFRS and USGAAP.
- Ability to lead accounting processes related to monthly, quarterly and year end close.
- Ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment and be adaptable to changing responsibilities/priorities with a commitment to excellence and impeccable standards and integrity.
- Ability to be collaborative and work with cross-functional and international teams at all levels.
