Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent practical experience.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA).
- 7 years of experience in accounting or a related function, or 5 years with an advanced degree in accounting, business, or finance.
- Experience in accounting agreement review for IFRS and USGAAP.
- Ability to communicate in English and Portuguese fluently to engage with local stakeholders.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's Degree in MBA or MSA.
- Experience managing project planning, status reporting, timeline estimation, issue tracking, meeting facilitation, and project documentation.
- Experience in Sheets and other spreadsheet technology.
- Ability to propose next steps and roadblock solutions, anticipate questions and challenges early, manage time, follow work plans and to lead accounting processes related to monthly, quarterly and year end.
- Ability to have a collaborative style and work with cross-functional and international teams.
- Excellent investigative skills and ability to communicate effectively with senior management.
