The Manager of Cloud Infrastructure Planning will be responsible for overseeing the capacity planning, forecasting, and resource management of our Cloud Infrastructure operations. This role requires a deep understanding of data center infrastructure, performance monitoring, and the ability to collaborate across various teams to ensure optimal performance and scalability.
CACACITY PLANNING:- Develop and maintain capacity planning models to assess current and future resource needs.- Monitor data center performance and usage patterns to forecast required capacity.- Analyze trends and make strategic recommendations to meet both business and technical requirements.REPORTING AND ANALYSIS:- Prepare and present capacity reports, metrics, and forecasts to senior management.- Identify potential risks and bottlenecks and propose actionable solutions.EFFICIENCY OPTIMIZATION:- Implement strategies for energy efficiency and sustainability within data center operations.- Research and evaluate new technologies to improve capacity planning, resource management, and efficiency.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in data center management, capacity planning, or related field.
- Strong understanding of data center operations, infrastructure components, and performance monitoring tools.
- Proven experience in analytical thinking, data analysis, and forecasting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across various teams.
- Experience with data center management software and tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
- Master’s degree is preferred.
