In this role, you will:
Processing corporate actions and voluntary functions & related processes across multiple markets
Reconciling and managing the full lifecycle of voluntary corporate action events inclusive of Event Capture, Notifications, Elections, Reconciliation and Payments.
Working with Agent Banks, Custodians, and external counterparties to ensure complete understanding of events and ensuring data flows are correct with respect to event processing.
Communicating with Operations colleagues, Technology Partners, Project Managers and Middle and Front Office Business Partners.
Risk management for events processed and maintenance of associated procedures.
Required Qualifications:
4+ years of Institutional Investment Operations experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
3+ years in Capital Markets, Broker Dealer and/or Securities Operations experience
Knowledge of DTCC and other international depositories and custodians (e.g., Euroclear, Clearstream) for allocations and elections
Extensive knowledge and understanding of Asset Services and Corporate Actions, preferred to have 3+ years of current and direct involvement with this function.
Knowledge and understanding of Broadridge applications, preferred to have knowledge with BANCS (corporate actions processing platform).
Ability to demonstrate a strong understanding of stock loan, securities, and derivative products as related to corporate actions.
3+ years of experience in a Financial Services firm with a focus on servicing an Intuitional / Prime Services business.
Familiar with the regulatory environment and maintaining strong controls
Experience working with custodians, depositories, agents, and external brokers to ensure timely and accurate processing of events to client accounts and to appropriately manage risk.
Demonstrated ability to ensure all daily tasks are completed in a timely manner and in compliance with departmental procedures.
Results driven, able to think outside the box, willingness to take on responsibility.
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Effective organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline driven environment.
Experience with a customer service mindset and a focus on continuous improvement
