As a PB Deposit Sales Manager within JP Morgan you will report to the Head of EMEA Private Bank Deposits & IPB Custody Solutions your primary objective is to develop and implement the local Deposit strategy, enhance the competitiveness and profitability of the business, drive sales, and expand the product portfolio.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist client advisors in marketing deposit capabilities to clients by driving sales initiatives and expanding our deposit product offerings.
  • Provide training and education to bankers by acting as a subject matter expert to investors, and client service teams on our deposit capabilities, competitive landscape, and pricing strategies.
  • Develop cash management solutions in partnership with Fixed Income Asset Class Leaders, ensuring alignment with clients’ long term goals.
  • Assess product development needs through direct contact with client advisors and clients, and partner with the Product Management team to create and prioritize the product agenda.
  • Perform market monitoring daily rates and spreads for deposits across currencies, analyzing market conditions and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions.
  • Track and analyze flows into and out of deposits daily, investigating underlying drivers and providing trend analysis to inform business strategy.
  • Provide cross functional support to the deposit pricing and treasury team on ad hoc requests, ensuring seamless integration of deposit strategies. Additionally the successful candidate will utilize thought leadership to assist production of materials for advisors and other audiences, positioning J.P. Morgan as a leader in the industry.
  • Treasury Sales Initiatives: Lead efforts to market and sell treasury and transactional banking services to a sophisticated client base, leveraging deep industry knowledge and expertise.
  • Engage with client advisor s to understand the complex needs of our sophisticated clients, tailoring treasury and transactional banking solutions to enhance client satisfaction and loyalty. In addition the successful candidate will partake in Strategic Development by conducting comprehensive market analysis to identify trends and opportunities in treasury sales and transactional banking, developing strategies to capitalize on these insights.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills:

  • 7+ years of experience in a comparable role, with a strong background in fixed income and transactional banking services.
  • Comprehensive understanding of balance sheets, the banking business and associated products and services.
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and negotiation skills, with the ability to establish and communicate a strategic vision.
  • Proven ability to develop collaborative relationships with business partners, senior stakeholders, and internal clients.
  • Control focus with a thorough understanding of operational risk in the context of treasury sales and transactional banking services.
