- Be responsible for the reliability of the OpenSearch clusters and other databases, making sure they run smoothly while providing the required performance and scale.
- Take part in the team’s projects including building automations for complex scenarios, automating observability, and introducing new technologies to the company.
- Support our developers when designing new features and migrating data.
- Build robust scripts and solutions to allow DB self management by developers
- Use and develop change management solutions using Terraform and other tools
- As data is at the core of the product, you will have a direct impact on the manageability, availability and performance of
- You will be working with a small team of experienced and highly talented engineers with cutting edge technologies while taking full responsibility and ownership from conception to post-deployment in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
- Proven working experience and deep understanding of ElasticSearch or Opensearch
- Background in RDBMS (MySQL / PostgreSQL/ Oracle / SQL Server / etc).
- Experience of at least 4+ years with ElasticSearch / OpenSearch performance, design, and scale .
- Coding experience and understanding of code and software environment.
- Experience and understanding of cloud environments and tools
- Experience in leading projects, POCing different technologies and rolling out new solutions to the production environment.
- Great skills of seeing a big picture and system architecture planning.
- Team player, egoless, strong communication skills, and empathy.
- Degree in Computer Science (not a must; we're always looking for super talented people).
