Description
- Define the display EE architecture and electrical specification to meet performance requirement- Lead proof-of-concept system design, characterization and bring up - Author high quality engineering requirements and specification - Take new technology from prototype to mass production - Analyze root causes for various production issues related to design, and propose mitigation - Participate in cross function design reviews and address integration concerns - Define next generation display electrical roadmap
Minimum Qualifications
  • BS and a minimum of 10 years relevant industry experience
  • Experience with at least one electrical engineering discipline: analog and mixed signal IC design, power electronics, system design, semiconductors, TFTs
  • Experience with circuit simulation tools such as HSPICE or Spectre.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Excellent written documentation and verbal communication skill
  • Proficient in converting performance requirement to electrical specs
  • Experience with PCB design and IC packaging and layout, including analysis for SI/PI/crosstalk
  • Experience in display technology, such as LCD, OLED, plasma, DLP, LCOS, e-paper, etc.
Pay & Benefits
  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $175,800 and $312,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
