As a Customer Innovation Engagement Manager, you will play a dedicated regional role for Development Services, bundling knowledge & expertise with a mandate to drive and coordinate GTM Processes.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Support Demand Generation & Sales: Assist in demand generation and sales support, positioning SAP Innovative Business Solutions to create new business opportunities.
  • Drive & Centrally Coordinate GTM Process: Coordinate and manage the GTM process, ensuring due diligence and safeguarding the sales cycle by mitigating risks. Centrally coordinate the GTM process towards deal closure with the support of the Solution Definition Team, Operations, and Global Finance & Administration (GFA).
  • Coordinate Engineering Aspects: Oversee and coordinate engineering aspects of the deal, ensuring compliance with corporate requirements and driving engineering-related planning and tasks in collaboration with Architects, UX Designers, and the UA Team.
  • Collaborate & Align: Work with Delivery Units on effort estimation and scope definition, and align with Local Legal, Rev Rec, Operations, and Controlling on specifics and mitigations.
  • Oversee Commercial & Contracting: Manage commercial aspects, including business case creation, contract drafting, and ensuring compliance with SAP policies. Support in compiling the Vision & Scope Document and in the preparation of the Business Case (BC).
  • Support Negotiations & Process Coordination: Assist in negotiations, drive alignment on commercial tasks with internal teams, and prepare synchronized contract drafts.
  • Manage Projects & Changes: Oversee the GTM process for Change Requests and support Project Managers during project execution, addressing scope changes as needed.
  • Ensure Compliance: Adhere to SAP’s Development Services Methodology, with basic technical understanding and PM/Dev experience. Act as a subject matter expert in Development Services Methodology, ensuring compliance with corporate policies and processes. Trigger approvals and manage downstream processes upon contract signature.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Subject matter expertise in Development Services MethodologySupport in compiling Vision & Scope Document.
  • Familiarity with SAP’s Development Services, GTM processes, and compliance policies
  • Basic technical understanding and PM/ Development experience
  • Ability to solve complex technical challenges in collaboration with customers.
  • Experience in project estimation, engineering a deal, and risk management.
  • Strong business acumen with good analytical and communication skills
  • Project Management/Pre-sales or Product/Solution management experience a plus
