Job Description
The Treasury Product Manager (VP/DIR) role will focus on developing strategies to grow revenue with a portfolio of clients in Latin America. Key accountabilities include independent focus of managing a client portfolio, supporting all activities from executing on daily client transaction activity, ongoing client relationship management, overall driving, and attainment of Global Banknotes revenue goals. This role will also be responsible for supporting the Banknote Exposure and Inventory management functions.

To be successful in the role, the TPM must maintain and build a strong client focus, and awareness and understanding of the banknotes foreign exchange market in addition to possessing good interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manage assigned client portfolio with end to end understanding of client’s banknote activity exceeding portfolio growth goals; including executing buy and sell foreign banknotes (cash) transactions in accordance with business objectives, client needs and established limits for Banknote clients.

  • Identifying solutions to client needs as requested or as a result of needs analysis.

  • Schedule and perform client portfolio reviews while exploring cross sell opportunities.

  • Produce pricing/cost benefit models for instituting effective pricing management initiatives.

  • Partner with GPS sales to manage the sales pipeline; ensuring deals are properly advanced.

  • Accountable for accuracy of banknotes related data within related tracking systems.

  • Work with other key stakeholders such as GPS Sales, Credit, Compliance and Operations to manage client relationships, business development and process improvements.

  • Understand and apply the bank’s risk framework when dealing with clients.

  • Liaise with transportation agents to coordinate shipments and negotiate competitive pricing.

  • Support global inventory management and balance sheet functions for the Global Banknote business.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5-7+ years of experience in the Global Banknotes market (preferred).

  • Fluency in Spanish both verbal and written is required.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.

  • Strong knowledge of foreign currency banknotes and foreign exchange including pricing, FX rate calculation and transportation logistics.

  • Strong mathematical and data analytic skills.

  • Client and solution focused with ability to multi-task and adapt to change.

  • Proven experience working in a fast-paced environment as part of a larger team.

  • Excellent MS Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook) experience.

  • Exposure to International markets.
