Responsibilities may include, but is not limited, to following
Minimum Qualifications
  • Masters or PhD in Mathematics, Computer Science, Applied Statistics and Economics or Machine Learning.
  • Strong background in statistics and data mining, strong working knowledge of data science algorithms.
  • Understands and masters general forecasting techniques such as Time Series Analysis and Projection (Moving Average, Exponential Smoothing, Trend Projection, etc.), Causal Models (Regression Model, Life Cycle Analysis, Leading Indicator, etc.) and Qualitative Techniques.
  • Strong working knowledge of database structures and data warehousing principles, and has strong programming skills in SQL, Python, SAS and/or R, and has experience with Teradata.
  • Strong writing, visualization and communication skills and ability to communicate complex quantitative analysis in a clear, precise and actionable manner to peers, management and executives.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Highly analytical, detail oriented and self motivated individual who has real passion for empirical research and answering hard questions with data; ability to conceptualize, promote and implement new ideas for AppleCare Service forecasting and planning.
  • High level of professionalism and sense of urgency in order to resolve issues, and drive and deliver projects in timely manner.
  • Great team player with a positive attitude. Has high level of integrity.
  • Ability to network broadly across the organization and drive collaboration.
Pay & Benefits
  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $165,500 and $248,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
