Modelling and Analysis – Assistant Director, Global Managed Services
Hybrid model: 2 days office/3 days remote
Responsibilities:
- Be a 'Go To' contact for financial and operational issues while supporting MS and MS Leaders and act as a trusted business adviser. Develop effective working relationships with the extended Finance team and leadership. Support the development of, and be responsible for running a suite of short and medium-term forecasting tools
- Build out performance reporting, creating and running analyses to support growth and margin improvement, analysing impact of results on forecasts, identifying cause and effect and course correction actions
- Provide support to key projects including the development of a Global Managed Services dashboard and centralised analytical hub
- Provide ad-hoc financial modeling and analysis services to GMS leadership in support of business planning and strategic and operational decision-making
Requirements:
- Strong technical skills with the ability to manipulate and draw trends from large amounts of data, analyze problems, design and implement solutions independently, pro-actively suggest ways to solve problems and display analyses in a way that engages audiences
- Advanced Excel, data modelling, Power BI & PowerPoint skills - ability to understand and exploit large data sets, present analysis and results through story-telling and problem solving is vital. Highly team-oriented approach, with flexibility regarding tasks undertaken and the ability to prioritize a number of conflicting demands to meet exacting deadlines
- Strong interpersonal skills - can work alongside and gain the trust and respect of stakeholders at all levels of seniority
- Global mindset – ability to work effectively as a virtual team member and ability and willingness to work in a multicultural and diverse environment and flex style as appropriate
- Credibility and confidence to challenge and propose better ways of doing things as well as build bridges and harmonize divergent interests and priorities
- Excellent communication skills – written and verbal; able to present complex financial data in a way that is easily understandable
- Understanding of EY business model , finance processes and reporting tools
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is required to perform this position.
- Graduate and/or professional certification in a business-related subject matter (i.e. Accounting, Finance) is required to perform this position
