What to Expect
As an Low Voltage Electrical Foreman with the Construction Trades team, you will have the opportunity to work on all phases of commercial construction: Skills in all areas of electrical are not necessarily required, but the job can and will involve a variety of electrical disciplines and a strong candidate will be able to perform a variety of electrical tasks installation on access control equipment and IP based video systems including but not limited to: electrified and non-electrified locks, card readers, ancillary door devices, IP and analog cameras, head-end video recording devices, wired and wireless systems and intercom systems, PLC systems, VFD systems, PSP systems, and FCU systems.
What You’ll Do
  • Utilize management software for schedules, updates, work requests, RFI’s, and reports for multiple crews
  • Allocate general and daily responsibilities for crews
  • Ensure adequacy of manpower and resources
  • Review and plan appropriate equipment and materials
  • Weekly review of project schedule, noting delays or changes
  • Lead by example, championing Tesla excellence
  • Assist with innovative thinking on Design Assist or Design Build projects, while managing and tracking tools, materials, equipment, and manpower
What You’ll Bring
  • 5+ years of Electrical experience in industrial orcommercial settings, with at least one year in a leadership role
  • Must possess or obtain OSHA 30 within first 90 days of employment
  • Proficiency in basic hand tools, electrical meters, and testing equipment
  • Familiarity with the National Electric Code Book and ability to interpret electrical prints and schematics
  • Capable of producing parts lists, work plans, and as-built drawings based on drawings or field assessments
  • Strong knowledge of job site safety, including identifying electrical hazards and executing proper safety procedures
