Marcom Technical Device Managers work within Marcom Production Operations group and support video production and photography projects. They handle the devices being filmed for marketing and training purposes.
RESPONSIBILITIES:- Ensure released and unreleased products remain true to function - Act as a liaison between engineering, product marketing, branding, content and production- Work with Creatives to prototype, load, and screen capture content on devices. - Manage Devices in Production Environment (Video and Photo)- Prepare and Test Hardware and Software ahead of a production- Partner with Brand to ensure screens and content remain true- Handle Logistics, Project Planning and meet Security needs- Provides onset support for production which will require significant travel both domestic and international
- 3-7 years of experience working in a technical or production role with full technical understanding in one or more of the following areas: Command line/scripting, camera systems, encoding & compression, software development, live broadcast systems or editing & VFX.
- Video and Photo onset production experience
- Networking and/or technical troubleshooting experience
- Experience with one of the following: Photoshop, Aftereffects and/or Final Cut
- A sense or curiosity with a view to constant learning and development and a passion for growing and trying new things
- Managing ambiguity and continuing to push forward even when the way forward isn’t clear
- Clear communicator with ability to create strong and productive peer relationships
- Strong customer focus helping cultivate good customer relationships with a view to better understanding customer needs
- Strong problem solving skills, with an ability to navigate through outstanding technical challenges
- Expert knowledge in Apple hardware and software products
- Experience using Terminal and Command Line
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Technical Project Management experience
- Apple Lead Genius experience
