EY Senior Finance Associate

You will have a great opportunity to cooperate with group finance and local management team.


Your key responsibilities:


• Efficient and accurate processing AP/AR and GL transactions in a timely manner

• Assuring invoice compliance with tax/legal rules and accounting standards

• Fixed Assets Register – recording and resolving issues with additions, retirements, disposals; posting depreciation charges

• Closing monthly accounting periods to ensure that all information is entered into the company’s accounting ledger accurately

• Perform all month-end intercompany closing activities in a timely manner

• Balance sheet account reconciliations preparation

• Providing support for internal and external audits

• Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and statutory requirements through the maintenance of organized accounts and records in accordance with EY procedures

• Responding to customer enquiries in a timely and professional manner

• Improving existing processes.

Proceed with ad hoc analysis and reporting requests

Skills and attributes for success:


• Bachelor’s degree in Finance

• 3+ years of experience in a similar role

• Knowledge of IFRS and Hungarian Accountancy regulations

• Good command of CIT and VAT regulations necessary to perform daily duties enumerated in job description

• Proficiency in MS Excel and other MS Office applications

• Strong organization and time-management skills, deadline orientation

• Fluency in Hungarian and Intermediate English (written and spoken)

• Positive, can-do attitude with agile approach to work

• Culturally sensitive, capable of handling interactions with a “global mindset”
