The main scope ofFirmware Development Engineer's involvement is to execute produce design taskssuch as coding, testing and requirement management. Important part of theinvolvement is also creating and maintaining technical documentation andsupporting rest of the team by providing accurate feedback.
This is a hybridrole, 3 days in office, 2 from home.

• Review requirements, coding, prepare software test cases
• Analyze usability of microcontrollers or peripheral chips for given purpose
• Support software and product testing activities and production process
• Prepare technical documentation

Key skills and qualifications

• Detailed knowledge of C programming language and compilers for embedded systems and Python for scripting and data processing capability. Ability to comprehend and create algorithms and software requirements, basic knowledge of electronic hardware, ability to read schematics, comprehend chip datasheets
• Experience with development of embedded software
• Intermediate English proficiency for active usage for both written and oral form
• Electrotechnical qualification in accordance CZ government regulation 194/2022 (ex. 50/1978). par. 6 - or eligible for that
• The below is a huge advantage: Experience with Functional Safety certified products and standards (SIL industrial, railroads, DO aerospace) and/or any of optic, mechanic, electronic or software troubleshooting of industrial devices, soldering skills, past involvement on projects under V-model development process, experience with debugging industrial communication protocols
