What you'll do...

This position is based at our Proving Ground Site in Lara, Victoria, and offers a hybrid working arrangement.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership & Workload Management: Direct the team's activities and manage workloads to ensure efficient and effective delivery of engineering tasks.
  • Team Meetings & Productivity: Conduct regular team and one-on-one meetings to foster productivity and ensure smooth operations.
  • Skill Development & Expertise: Build the skill set of the team to maintain a high level of expertise in leading development and sign-off for advanced programs.
  • Technical Excellence & Engagement: Drive technical excellence within the team and promote engagement with global teams.
  • Development & Sign-off Participation: Actively participate in development and sign-off activities.
  • Internal & Program Alignment: Interface with internal development teams and Program Attribution Teams (PAT) to ensure attribute alignment and successful program delivery.
  • Core Team Communication & Reporting: Interface with core teams and report program status through health chart reviews and other communication channels.

You’ll have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering required; master’s degree in engineering preferred.
  • 8-10+ years of experience in vehicle-level CAE analysis.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering attribute performance throughout the vehicle development process.
  • Prior experience as a Lead CAE Engineer is highly desirable.
  • Ability to efficiently manage multiple issues across various programs.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and leadership behaviours with the ability to coach the team through processes.
  • technical proficiency in Vehicle Dynamics/NVH and experience in balancing attributes.
