What you'll do...

As a Distinguished, System and Infrastructure Engineer on the Container Runtime Security team, you will be responsible for defending company resources and data within Kubernetes and containerized workloads.

What you'll do:

• Influence the direction and prioritization of the container runtime security portfolio by analyzing business objectives and customer needs.

• Build strong and trusting relationships with team members, Walmart Global Technology, and third-party vendor partners working collaboratively and cross-functionally to achieve objectives.

• Implement and advocate for security best practices for Kubernetes and containerized workloads.

• Implement and advocate for security controls to ensure compliance with industry regulations and security standards for Kubernetes and containerized workloads.

• Contribute to policies and standards that govern Kubernetes and containerized workloads.

• Evaluate and recommend new technologies to enhance the security controls for Kubernetes and containerized workloads.

• Mentor and grow junior engineers.

What you'll bring:

• Technical acumen in containerization, Kubernetes, service mesh, cloud engineering (e.g. GCP, Azure, and OpenStack), and software engineering (e.g., Python, Go).

• Experience building custom solutions in highly distributed environments.

• Familiarity with regulatory compliance (PCI, HIPAA, SOX, etc.).

• Customer focused, product mindset.
