What you’ll do:
- Create test plans, manual tests, automated tests using tools and frameworks to make sure that products and processes run as expected.
- Ensure process compliance with regard to support, maintenance and development standards within your organization including measures for quality assurance (e.g. operational audits, software tests)
- Perform planning and execution of quality assurance / quality control activities during the lifecycle of the product/project in alignment with the development team.
- Awareness of Release management for a product
- As a member of the global QM team actively contribute to the QM community and engage in continuous improvement.
- Project management and Scrum framework skills
- Working knowledge of customer case processing, customer notes, software corrections and software enhancements
- Maintain the regression automation and constantly enhance the automated test framework.
- Liaise with internal developers to plan and design tests for new features, software deployment, and recreation of system-wide cases.
- Able to set up cross-product development test landscapes
- Awareness of concepts of Product Security, Data Protection and Privacy
- Innovation mindset, continuous improvement, and optimization of support activities
Education & Skill Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 7+ years of experience in software quality assurance and testing
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and agile methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Proven ability to work in a distributed setup.
- Hands-on experience in test automation tools like START/TOSCA/SELENIUM & Jenkins
- Functional knowledge in any SAP ERP module is preferred
- Working knowledge with JIRA, eCATTS
