Job Description

Play an important role in the process of developing colleagues’ knowledge and experience, based on his/her own knowledge of product, market and customer needs.

  • Develop effective training system in Align China to provide training to customers in the areas of IOS, iTero, IOC, Orthocad and trouble-shooting any of these software/hardware in their different interactions with IDS or ClinCheck software
  • Review of power point presentations, digital images and scans for marketing and/or sales materials as well as clinical education materials related with IOS, Itero, IOC and Orthocad.
  • Demonstrate ability to provide leadership to a group of trainers and desire to be a leader within the group. Recruit, manage and coach Training Engineer.
  • Train training engineer to deliver qualified trainings to internal/external customers, and monitor team’s performance and outcomes.
  • Set-up the training materials management process according to the company’s training system or project needs.
  • Conduct continuous assessment of department training needs; develop/ conduct and/or utilize appropriate external resources to deliver special training programs to address.
  • Supervise departmental standards for personal and team performance metrics.
  • Work with the management team to develop recommendations for corrective action plans.
  • Manage the improvements, modifications, and structure of the training curricula
  • Development and delivery of any documentation and work instructions related to its use.
  • Improve the ability to capture and report more meaningful customer insight data (e.g. Develop new schema for capturing and categorizing customer data)
  • Recommend, develop and implement improved processes to track trend and improve internal quality measurement within the department.
  • Be alert to trends in requests and issues reported by customers. Research information to answer inquiries from customers and share learning’s with departmental peers and management
  • Propose ideas for procedures and processes to promote improved service and customer satisfaction, and overall department improvements and efficiencies.
  • Participate in special projects and/or training when requested, as well as proactive team and individual efforts to achieve department and company goals.
  • Interact with customers and fellow employees in a timely, patient, tactful and professional manner.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

This position should have the ability to write routine reports and correspondence, communicate effectively with colleagues.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, listening skills, persuasive communication skills, and ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Fluent in Chinese, presenting excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong English communication skills are required.
  • Analytical - Designs work flows and procedures.
  • Technical Skills - Assesses own strengths and weaknesses; Pursues training and development opportunities; Strives to continuously build knowledge and skills; Shares expertise with others.
  • Managing People – Includes in staff planning, decision-making, facilitating and process improvement.

  • Familiarity with Windows environment. Ability to learn software applications quickly. Experience with computer applications such as word processing, spreadsheet, and database programs.

Education [Degree or equivalent experience]

  • Bachelor Degree, Major in dentistry, biology or chemistry are preferred or equivalence in experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of working experience in healthcare or dental industry.
  • Minimum of 4 years of technical support/training experience in medical / dental related areas is required.
  • 1-2 years of related experience in supervisory positions is preferred.
