At Nokia, the Culture team plays a critical role in ensuring our leaders, teams and talent have the capabilities, tools, learning opportunities and underlying culture needed to grow as individuals and as an organisation.

To support our approach, we are hiring a Culture & Change specialist, who will report into the Head of Culture and will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies and programs that foster a healthy, adaptable and inclusive culture in our organisation. Additionally, you will lead efforts to help the organisation manage and navigate change effectively -- and also partner with colleagues to help build this capability into the organisation, ensuring that our teams are adaptable and resilient in the face of change and continual growth.

Culture

  • Thought Leadership/Center of Expertise: Serve as the organization’s foremost thought leader on culture by staying up-to-date on the latest research and current trends that promote building healthy and inclusive organizations. Embed cutting-edge best practice into core methodology, frameworks and tools/resources – and also bring this thought leadership into consults for and to Nokia’s Business Groups.
  • Culture Philosophy and Framework: Leverage best-in-class thought leadership to develop, implement, and continuously refine the company's culture philosophy and core framework, based around Nokia’s essential values (Open, Fearless, Empowered).
  • Culture Strategic Direction: Leverage best-in-class practice to develop, implement, and continuously refine the company's culture strategic direction, aligned with the company's essentials and crucially integrating into elements from other CPO pillars as well.
  • Consult/Advise/Partner: Consult with, advise and coach Business Groups to support them in their culture objectives while also creating economies of scale across Nokia where appropriate.
  • Cultural Evolution: Advise BGs on how to build a culture of continuous improvement and innovation, how to foster an environment where employees can thrive, and how to champion a culture of accountability, ethics, and transparency. Overall, set the tone for communication about culture, cultivating a human-centered focus and emotional connection.
  • Data-Driven Insight and Decision-Making: Use data to drive insight and explore the relationship between culture initiatives and key human capital/org indicators.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to promote culture throughout the organization. Communicate to the company on overall culture goals, resources and initiatives.
  • Organisational Alignment: Partner closely with other CPO Leads to embed culture into org, leader, manager and talent development efforts, programs, and capability building. Serve as a close partner with BG People Partners, Culture Partners, and Leaders to align and support.

Change Management

  • Change Initiatives: Applies detailed technical expertise and familiarity with best-in-class change management methodologies to plan and deliver all change management initiatives and resources at the enterprise-level (coordinating a team of senior leadership stakeholders)
  • Building Capability & Development: Partners with CPO colleagues to build change management capability at all levels of the organisation by building guidelines for training, development, and programs – as well as crucial tools, templates, playbooks and resources that can be applied in the flow of work.
  • Consult & Advise: Consults with and advises Business Groups (in partnership with People Partners & Culture Partners) in developing change management plans to guide teams through significant transitions and transformations.

Organisational Psychology:

  • Act as Thought Leader: Provide expert advice on psychological principles and methodologies to enhance culture, employee engagement, motivation, and productivity.
  • Demonstrate Expertise: Utilize evidence-based practices to address organizational challenges, such as conflict resolution, team dynamics, and change management.
  • Design Authority: Ensure robust foundation is applied in development and delivery of training programs that promote emotional intelligence, leadership development, and effective communication.
KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor's degree in organizational development, human resources, or organizational psychology.
  • Robust understanding of organizational psychology theory and practice
  • Experience leading comprehensive enterprise-level change and culture initiatives and programs across a wide range of industries.
  • Demonstrated expertise in culture and change management methodologies and track record of applying them through designing, building and overseeing robust culture & change management offerings.
  • Demonstrated expertise in DEI and track record of building inclusive cultures.
  • Excellent leadership, team management, and program/project management skills.
  • Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Strategic thinking and the ability to develop and execute complex change management plans.
  • Commitment to fostering a positive, adaptable and inclusive organizational culture.
