What you will accomplish:
- Define and execute a long-term vision for the category that aligns with company goals, ensuring a robust and competitive market position that drives sustainable growth
- Cultivate and maintain strong, mutually beneficial relationships with sellers, acting as their primary point of contact and trusted advisor to develop and implement growth strategies and cultivate long-term collaboration
- Monitor and analyze seller performance metrics to provide targeted feedback and actionable insights, helping sellers optimize their listings, pricing, and customer service to improve sales and customer satisfaction
- Continuously analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities and potential risks, translating insights into actionable strategies that improve category performance
- Collaborate with marketing, operations, finance and product to ensure cohesive execution of category strategies, driving interdepartmental alignment that improves category success and overall business impact
- Set and achieve bold Gross Merchandise Volume targets, monitoring performance metrics closely and adjusting strategies as necessary to deliver on financial expectations
What you will bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related fields and 5+ years of relevant experience, preferably in an e-commerce or retail environment
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills to cultivate and maintain productive relationships with sellers and internal stakeholder
- Proficiency in analyzing complex data, understanding market research, and tracking consumer trend to make informed decisions and forecast category performance
- Excellent problem-solving skills to quickly identify issues, analyze challenges, and implement effective solutions to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities
- Proficiency in English and German
