- Frequent interactions with contract manufacturers/vendors; developing SOPs, debug instructions, and documentation
MS in Engineering or related discipline (or BS + 5 years professional experience)
3+ years professional experience (or equivalent) in design, development, debug, validation and working with electro-mechanical systems
Working knowledge of consumer electronics modules like transducers: sensors (light/force/pressure/touch/motion) and/or acoustics (speaker/microphone)
Basic understanding of hardware concepts and EE fundamentals (i.e. HW architecture, block diagrams and schematic design, debug interfaces, etc.)
Programming skills in one or more of the following: C/C++/Objective-C, along with scripting knowledge (Python, Lua)
Knowledge of digital signal processing (DSP)
Experience analyzing and processing large data sets
Domestic and international travel may be required (up to 10%)
5+ years of professional experience in design, development, debug, validation and working with electro-mechanical systems
Understanding of test principles, GRR, experience with test automation and optimization
Experience in high volume consumer electronics manufacturing
Strong analytical/problem solving skills and ability to manage many priorities across multiple disciplines
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
