The Transformation Office is housed in the Global Technology COO organization, and will transition across technology topics beyond Public Cloud that are of strategic priority to the Global Technology organization and JP Morgan.
As a Strategy Associate in the Transformation Office, you will lead teams in solving complex problems, framing strategy decisions and unblocking implementation issues critical to achieving a key strategic priority of the firm.
Job Responsibilities:
Develop work plans to test/ evaluate strategies and insights and deliver the goals of the Transformation Office
Build frameworks, content, hypothesis sets, analyses, and roadmaps for solutions
Identify potential roadblocks/ obstacles and escalate issues as needed
Contribute to development of concise communication materials for senior management
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 3+ years consulting experience with a top-tier strategy/ management consulting firm, an internal consulting/ corporate strategy team, or a top-tier technology strategy firm in a client facing role
- Strong communication skills (both oral and written) as well as strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to interact with colleagues as peers and achieve goals without direct control over resources
- Knowledge and fluency in enterprise IT management concepts including organization, product operating model, budgeting, talent, and risk management. Technical knowledge in cloud or IT infrastructure is helpful, but not required
- Proven entrepreneurial drive to identify opportunities for impact and influence others to take action
- Proven ability to structure and scope complex problems and apply a range of analytical and qualitative tools to develop solutions
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Significant experience with PowerPoint for executive-level documents and Excel based models for analysis and planning
- Tableau or similar BI experience for analysis is preferred
- Financial services background and/ or Cloud experience is preferred, but not mandatory
