Maya for 3D modeling and UV, ZBrush and Blender for sculpting, Houdini for pyro, fluid, and destruction simulations, Substance Designer for texture generation, Substance Painter for baking and texturing, Xcode for profiling, and Amplify Shader Editor for prototyping shaders.

• Creating concept designs and developing real-time VFX for mobile games in Unity

• Profiling and optimizing effects and game assets created by you or by others

• Customizing the VFX of game characters’ skills using internal tools

• Creating 3D models and animations for VFX when needed

• At least 2 years of work experience in the games industry

• Knowledge of the principles of motion, anticipation, dynamics, and other aspects of animation

• Firm knowledge of Unity editor

• Experience creating VFX for games

• Experience creating or writing VFX shaders in node-based editors

• Knowledge of Houdini, Blender, Maya, or 3ds Max

• 3D modeling and 3D animation skills

• Experience creating UV maps and baking them

• Experience creating textures for VFX

• In-depth experience with Particle Systems in Unity

• English language skills at the pre-intermediate level or higher

• Understanding of mobile device hardware restrictions

• Ability to estimate the time to complete tasks

• Experience working with Houdini and Houdini Engine for Unity

• Hands-on experience with Substance Painter and Designer

• Experience working with GIT or similar version control systems
