The Opportunity
Join our dynamic and rapidly expanding team at Flywire in a key leadership role as the Vice President of Investor Relations. As the bridge between our company and the investment community, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our external communications strategy, fostering relationships with shareholders, analysts, and potential investors.
This role reports directly into the CFO and has significant visibility and interactions with the CEO, executive team and board of directors. This position offers a thrilling opportunity to be at the forefront of our growth journey, driving transparency, trust, and value creation for our stakeholders. We are looking for an individual with high energy and a strong work ethic, outstanding communications and interpersonal skills (particularly presentation skills) and a deep knowledge of business and finance.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive investor relations strategies and plans aligned with the company's business objectives and financial performance goals.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive corporate investor relations program that enhances Flywire’s image and reputation among its constituencies including analysts shareholders employees and investors
- Responsible for maintaining and growing the investor base and generating positive interest with quality new investors that align with Flywire strategy
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with institutional investors, analysts, and other key stakeholders to enhance the company's visibility and credibility in the investment community.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for investor inquiries, providing timely and accurate responses to inquiries and feedback.
- Develop a proactive investor relations team to build relationships respond in a timely manner to analysts’ questions and gain better understanding of top investors’ behaviors
- Prepare and deliver compelling investor presentations, earnings releases, and other communication materials to effectively convey the company's financial performance, growth prospects, and strategic initiatives.
- Lead the quarterly earnings releases process including drafting the press release scripts, Q&As and multi-media (presentations video infographics)
- Monitor and analyze market trends, peer benchmarking, and investor perceptions to inform senior management and the Board of Directors on investor sentiment and potential areas of concern.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, legal, communications, strategy, marketing, legal, and executive teams to ensure alignment on investor messaging and disclosure requirements.
- Coordinate investor events, roadshows, and conference participation to maximize investor engagement and support capital raising activities.
- Oversee the preparation and dissemination of regulatory filings, including annual reports, proxy statements, and SEC disclosures, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and reporting standards.
- Monitor and analyze financial market and competitive trends investor sentiment and peer company activities to provide insights and recommendations on investor relations strategies
- Develop an understanding of the models used by analysts to evaluate company performance and generate periodic reports to management on market and valuation trends
- Develop an in-depth understanding of the Flywire’s business, operations, financials businesses accounting and other key metrics
- Stay updated on relevant financial and industry regulations and ensure compliance in all investor-related activities to continuously enhance the effectiveness and impact of the investor relations function.
- Maintaining and elevating the Investor Relations website as well as all other forms and mediums of communication.
What we’re looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or related field; MBA preferred
- Undergraduate degree in finance or business
- Minimum of 15 years of business experience in IR or related disciplines of finance planning strategy or research
- This individual will have a minimum of 10 years of IR or Research experience with a peer company financial services company or IR consulting firm and will have demonstrated knowledge of investor relations practices and SEC regulations regarding disclosure of corporate information
- Strong understanding of financial markets investment analysis valuation methodologies and financials models used to value a company’s performance
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written with the ability to distill complex financial information into clear and concise messages for stakeholders at all levels
- Strong analytical and critical-thinking abilities with the capacity to interpret financial data and market trends
- Ability to provide insights that contribute to the company's growth and competitive advantage
- Proven interpersonal skills to develop relationships that inspire confidence trust and respect from internal and external contacts
- Thorough knowledge of the securities market SEC disclosures requirements and accounting policies
- Strong understanding of the global financial markets
- Effective organizational skills accuracy and attention to detail
- Can-do positive approach and the ability to serve in a highly consultative manner with individuals across a wide variety of disciplines
- Superb reputation and credibility with the investor community for gathering industry knowledge to benefit the company’s messaging and strategies
- Outstanding analytical skills to interpret the financial models used by investment professionals and analysts to value an organization’s performance
- Experienced in working with a CEO CFO and Board of Directors
- High personal integrity and strong work ethics
- Ability to lead a team of IR professionals, coach, develop and inspire towards a vision. Leadership experience with managing investor relations teams and external consultants
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to evolving business priorities

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $210,000 - $300,000 plus [other potential items: bonus, commission, restricted stock units] and benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, position level, and location. The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and several other factors, including job-related skills, experience, relevant education and training.
